The
craze for natural looking thick eyebrows is at an all-time high. From girls in
their twenties to women well in their forties, this trend knows no bounds or
age limit. The newest addition which offers a permanent solution is brow
tattooing. Also known as brow feathering, Sydney folk
have taken to this trend by storm. This trend poses a great treat for those who
have always had scarce hair growth in the eyebrow area to begin with. The
reasons for scarce growth are many which include but are not limited to over
plucking, dyeing and genetic defects as well.
When
you go to a parlour or spa to avail eyebrow service, you will be presented with
three options. Microblading, microfeathering and microshading. Given below are
the descriptions of each of the procedure so in case you were confused about what
to get, we will help you make a decision.
Microshading:
Imagine
Instagram eyebrows 3 years ago. Microshading is the tattoo trick in which your
eyebrows are shaded like we used to shade colouring books in childhood;
someplace light and someplace darker. First the desired shape of the eyebrow is
determined depending on the face shape of the customer or on their personal
preference. Then the shape of the brow is traced and on the face of the
customer. After this the beautician uses tattoo equipment to shade the inside
of the eyebrow with dots of ink. The ink and colour are thicker on the tip of
the brow and lighter where the two brows meet. This is done to create a natural
yet artistic ombre effect. The method of application is not necessarily in dots
but can be the filling in of the colour seamlessly as well to create a
naturally dark eyebrow look. This trend however has died down and has not been
in fashion for the past year where the focus is on more natural brows rather
than impeccably filled in.
Microblading:
Microblading
pertains to eyebrow tattooing done to mirror small natural hair. The process
again is rather simple where the beautician outlines the natural shape of the
eyebrows and extends them a little to give a fuller look. The eyebrow is then
filled in with natural hair like strokes which resemble the already present
hair in the eyebrows.
Microblading
has been an extremely popular trend from 2018 and still continues to be so. It
gives a more natural look than microshading all the while making your eyebrows
look prim, proper and in shape.
Microfeathering:
Imagine
Victoria’s Secret’s angel Taylor Hill’s eyebrows. This technique incorporates
light feather like strokes and as of recently are the choice for all
celebrities. Out of all the three procedures describes above, these look the
most natural and are very much in vogue in 2019. Thick, bushy and natural brows
can complement any make up look and you do not need to put in a lot of effort
as well. Imagine waking up in the morning and not having to spend 10 to 15
minutes trying to perfect your eyebrows.
Brow feathering in Sydney
is at an all-time high and for good reason. A good brow can change one’s
appearance significantly.
